The experience

The day starts with hotel pickup and a speedboat ride to Maya Bay, where you snorkel in clear water below towering limestone cliffs. From there the boat moves to Monkey Beach, where you swim and snorkel while monkeys inhabit the shoreline nearby. A third stop at Bamboo Island gives you more time in the water before the group returns for a buffet lunch with ocean views. Life jacket and snorkeling mask are provided. Drinking water and fresh fruit come with the meal.

Eight to nine hours total means you leave early and return mid-afternoon. The speedboat holds the group together across all three stops, so the pace is set by the boat schedule rather than individual preference. A live guide speaks English or Thai throughout the day. Hotel transfers are included, so you don't arrange separate transport to the pier.

The minimum group size is ten people per departure. On rare occasions when a tour cannot run, the operator offers an alternative date, a different tour or a full refund. A national park fee (400 Thai baht per adult, 200 baht per child) is paid separately at the point of entry and is not included in the tour price.
