The boat leaves between 8:00 and 8:45 AM from your hotel in Patong, Kata or Karon, which means you have time for breakfast before heading to the pier. The first stop is Pileh Lagoon, where you swim and snorkel in clear water surrounded by limestone cliffs. The tour then cruises around Maya Bay, the protected zone famous from film; you view it from the boat rather than wade ashore, since the bay is closed to visitors on land most days. This is the scenic part of the route where you stay aboard and take in the landscape.

Lunch is served on Phi Phi Island, where you have time to swim, explore the nearby beaches or simply rest before the final snorkeling session. Pileh Lagoon is the first stop, a sheltered snorkeling spot ringed by cliffs where the water is calm and clear. Can I actually get off the boat and walk around Maya Bay?
