The speedboat leaves Royal Phuket Marina early, and you're on the water before the day gets crowded. The boat holds up to 25 passengers depending on which vessel you're on (the 47-footer or the smaller 39-passenger option), and the ride itself is part of the experience, cutting across the Andaman toward islands that look almost unreal from a distance. Your guide is on board, and so is a snorkel kit, a waterproof phone pouch, and a lifejacket. Soft drinks and water are available the whole time, which matters when you're out in the sun for eight hours.
Maya Bay comes first, the beach from the Leonardo DiCaprio film "The Beach." The water there is so clear it barely looks real, and you get time to swim and take photos, though note that the bay closes August through September 2026 for ecological restoration, so if you're booking for those months, the operator extends time at the other stops instead.
