The Experience

You're standing at the park entrance thinking this might be more intense than you bargained for, and then your guide hands you a helmet and life jacket and suddenly it feels real. The walk into the forest takes about 20 minutes—your guide points out the different fruit trees and plants as you go, and the air gets cooler the closer you get to the water. By the time you reach waterfall number one at Damajagua Falls, you're ready to jump in.
