Six ziplines ending in a splash, then a waterfall pool to cool off

Zipline Mega Splash at Bavaro Adventure Park in the Dominican Republic is a 3-hour activity circuit of 6 ziplines, a Himalayan Bridge crossing, and a cable that lands you in water. The experience includes round-trip shared transfers from your hotel, a typical Dominican lunch, bilingual guides, all safety equipment and training, and access to the park's waterfall pool. Minimum height is 1.30 meters; maximum weight 130 kilograms.

The Experience

The day starts with pickup from your hotel and a shared bus ride to Bavaro Adventure Park. Once there, you get a safety briefing and training from bilingual staff, then move through the circuit at your own pace. The six ziplines build in intensity, and the Himalayan Bridge — a suspended crossing between platforms — comes before the signature moment: the Mega Splash Cable, which launches you out over water and drops you in for the landing. After you climb out, the park's waterfall pool is there to relax in while you dry off.

You'll need closed sports shoes for the ziplines; bring a towel, bathing suit and a change of clothes since you'll be wet. The park provides lockers for personal items during the activity, though there's a small additional charge. Lunch is included — a typical Dominican meal without drinks — so you're fed before or after depending on the timing that works for you. The whole circuit runs about three hours from start to finish.

Transfers are shared, so you'll ride with other guests from the park back to your hotel. If you want professional photos of the zipline moments or souvenirs, those are available separately. Tips for the staff and any extra snacks or drinks beyond the included lunch are your choice at checkout.

Top questions

What exactly is the Mega Splash Cable and how does the water landing work?

The Mega Splash Cable is the final zipline in the circuit — it's designed to launch you out over a pool of water, and you land directly in it. You'll be wet, which is why the waterfall pool and change of clothes are part of the plan.

Do I need to be fit or have zipline experience to do this?

The activity is suitable for all physical fitness levels. You don't need prior experience — the guides give you a full training and safety briefing before you start. Height must be at least 1.30 meters and weight no more than 130 kilograms to participate.

What's included in the lunch, and when do we eat?

Lunch is a typical Dominican meal included in the price, though drinks are not. The timing fits into the three-hour circuit — you'll eat either before or after the ziplines depending on how the day flows with your group.

Are the bus transfers shared with other people, and do they pick me up at my hotel?

Yes, transfers are shared — you'll ride with other guests. Pickup is from your hotel and includes the round trip back, so you don't need to arrange your own transport to the park.

What languages do the guides speak?

Guides are bilingual and speak English, Spanish, French and Russian, so instruction and safety briefings happen in your language.

Can I bring my phone or camera on the ziplines?

Personal items are not allowed during the activities — the park provides small and large lockers where you can store them. Professional photos are available for purchase if you want images of yourself on the lines.
