The Experience

Eight ACCT-certified zip lines make up the core of this activity, strung across more than 7,900 feet of double, galvanized aircraft steel cable—the longest single ride stretches 2,460 feet. You get equipped at the Country House Bar, go through a safety briefing, and then move through the lines at your own pace. Unlike some zip line parks, you don't operate the braking yourself; the setup handles the stopping, so the focus stays on the ride rather than technique.

After the zip lines, the pace shifts to a horseback ride through the countryside. The ride is built for beginners and children; guides provide full basic riding instruction before you mount, and the route is chosen for views rather than difficulty. The horses move at a walk through the landscape, giving you time to settle into the saddle and take in the surroundings. This is where the "relax" part of the day happens—a deliberate contrast to the adrenaline of the cables.

Lunch is a home-cooked Dominican meal served after the ride: rice, beans, chicken, fried plantains, and vegetables. The kitchen accommodates vegetarian preferences. You'll also walk through a tropical garden and petting zoo before heading back to the port. Pickup and drop-off at either Taino Bay or Amber Cove cruise terminal are included, and guides speak English, Spanish, French, or German depending on the group.
