An activity package at Country World Adventure Park in Maimón combines ATV riding, eight zip lines, horseback riding and a final zip into a swimming pool, plus a home-cooked Dominican lunch. Pickup is included from either Amber Cove or Taino Bay, 45 minutes after your ship arrives. A live guide speaks English, Spanish, French or German, and children from age 3 are welcome (though ATV driving requires a valid license and is limited to age 18+).

The Experience

The day starts 45 minutes after your ship docks, with pickup at your chosen port—Amber Cove or Taino Bay. The drive to Country World Adventure Park takes just 10 minutes from Amber Cove or 20 from Taino Bay. Once you arrive at the Country House Bar, your guide walks you through what comes next: four separate activities, each with its own setup and no experience required for any of them.

The ATV section puts you on a four-wheeler through the Dominican countryside—off-road terrain, local villages, the daily rhythms of rural life. Horseback riding follows, with mounts matched to your skill level; beginners and children get full instruction before heading out. The eight zip lines run across more than 8,000 feet of double galvanized steel cable, and the braking is passive (no gloves, no active stopping). The ninth line is the finale: you zip directly into a swimming pool. Between activities, you eat a home-cooked Dominican lunch of rice, beans, chicken, fried sweet potatoes, yucca, vegetables and fruit.

The whole package runs about five and a half hours. Safety equipment and bottled water are included. Children under 18 can ride as ATV passengers if an adult drives; anyone 18 or older with a valid license can drive solo. Bandanas, goggles, sodas and lockers are available to purchase on-site if you need them.
