The experience
The five ziplines run right through the waterfall zone, so you're not zipping over a canyon and then driving to water. You're moving between the falls themselves. The setup means you can choose at each stop whether to zipline across or slide and jump down the natural chutes. The guides show you how and stay with the group. You'll have a helmet, life vest and cables the whole time, and the guides are certified by the waterfall company.
The morning runs about three hours from the time you start at the falls. You meet at a designated point 45 to 50 minutes after your cruise docks, or the operator contacts you to set a time if you're staying at a hotel. The route covers seven of the 27 Damajagua Falls, moving through the water and climbing between levels. Bring only what you'll use: the operator asks that phones and valuables stay secured, since the terrain is wet and the activity is hands-on.
After the waterfall section ends, you head to a buffet lunch before the drive back. The vehicle is air-conditioned and WiFi is available on board. Children from age 8 can join, and the guides speak English and Spanish.
Is this one for you?Book this if you want to move through the waterfalls yourself rather than just look at them: the ziplines and the option to slide down the falls mean you're active the whole time, not watching from a platform or a boat.

What languages is the tour guided in?
Live guide in English and Spanish.
Can children come?
Yes. Ticket types: Youth (8 to 17 years). Children under 8 can't be included in the booking.
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
Can I choose to zipline or jump at each waterfall, or do I have to do one or the other?
You get to pick at each stop. The guides show you both options (zipline across or slide and jump down the natural chutes), so you can mix them through the morning depending on what feels right at each fall.
Do I need to be a strong swimmer to do this?
You'll be in water at the falls and moving between levels, so you need at least a moderate level of physical fitness. The operator doesn't recommend this activity for travelers with spinal injuries, poor cardiovascular health, or if you're pregnant.
What happens if I'm staying at a hotel instead of arriving by cruise?
The operator will contact you to set a meeting time. Pickup from your hotel and transport to Damajagua Falls are included.
