The experience
The boat is a traditional Gozzo, newly built in 2023 or 2025, 26 feet long, with a canopy for shade and a separate toilet. You'll sail past the old defensive towers and fishermen's houses of Furore Fjord, a natural inlet carved into the coast, then approach Positano: the vertical town whose colorful houses stack up the cliffside. The crew can drop you ashore to walk the narrow streets and the town center, or you can stay on the water and take in the view from the boat.
Swimming and snorkeling happen at several stops along the way: the Pandora Cave, where you can plunge into crystalline water; Tordigliano Beach, known for clarity and calm; and the Emerald Grotto if conditions allow. The grotto, discovered by a local fisherman in 1932, glows green when sunlight filters through underwater openings and refracts off the cave walls, but strong wind or high swell can make entry impossible, so it is not guaranteed. Snorkel gear, towels and a canopy shelter are on board. The tour runs seven to eight hours and includes prosecco, beer, limoncello, Aperol Spritz, soft drinks and snacks. You arrange lunch separately at one of the waterfront restaurants the crew recommends along the coast.
Because the itinerary is flexible, you decide which towns to visit and how long to linger at each stop. The guide speaks English, Spanish or Italian. The boat is private to your group alone, and the crew adjusts the day around what you want to see and do.

Top questions
What languages is the guide in?
Live guide in English, Spanish and Italian.
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24h before the start.
What is the Emerald Grotto like when you get there?
The Emerald Grotto is a sea cave where sunlight enters through underwater openings and turns the water an intense emerald green, casting sparkling reflections across the cave walls. Access depends on weather: strong wind or high swell can make entry unsafe, so it is not guaranteed on every tour.
Can I visit Positano town during the tour?
Yes, you can ask the crew to stop and drop you ashore in Positano so you can walk the town center and the characteristic narrow streets with shops and the cathedral. Staying on the boat to admire the pyramid of colorful houses from the water is also an option.
How many people fit on the boat?
The boat holds a maximum of six passengers, so your group travels privately without other travelers joining.
What swimming and snorkeling spots are included?
The tour stops at several spots: the Pandora Cave for diving into crystalline water, Tordigliano Beach for its clear water and calm conditions, and the Emerald Grotto if weather permits. Snorkel gear and towels are provided on board.
Is lunch included in the tour price?
Lunch is not included, but the crew can stop at a typical waterfront restaurant along the coast where you can order and pay separately for meals.
