The experience
The tour starts with pickup at your hotel and a drive to the Argentine side of Iguazu Falls. Once there, your guide leads you onto the network of tracks that cut through the forest and run directly under and over the cascades. This is where you stand closest to the water and feel the force of the 275 waterfalls that make up the system. The trails wind through the tropical forest canopy, and the guide navigates the route with you rather than leaving you to find your own way.
After the Argentine side, your guide takes you across to the Brazilian side of the falls. The perspective shifts here. The Brazilian vantage points give you a wider view of the entire system. When the tour ends, your driver returns you to your hotel. The whole day runs 8 to 9 hours, and the air-conditioned vehicle means you're not exposed to the heat between sites.
