The experience

The day starts at 7:30 with pickup from your hotel and a drive to Iguazu National Park on the Argentine side. An eco-friendly train takes you to Devil's Gorge station, then a 1.2 km walkway brings you face-to-face with the falls: close enough to feel the spray and the power of the water. From there, the upper circuit is a flat 2 km trail with viewpoints where you see the diversity of birds, butterflies and vegetation along the way. Your private guide walks with you throughout, explaining what you're seeing and keeping the pace manageable.

After the Argentine side, you cross into Brazil using a licensed tour vehicle that gets you authorized entry into the Brazilian park: no queues, no waiting at the gate. The 1.8 km walk here is built around panoramic views: you're looking out at more than 275 individual falls, and every step reveals a new angle. The best vantage point is the Brazilian viewpoint of Devil's Gorge itself, where the sound and spray hit differently from this side. If you want to add intensity, an optional boat ride takes you into the heart of the falls and you'll get soaked. This is a separate booking at checkout.

The vehicle is air-conditioned, the guide speaks your language, and parking is included. Park entry tickets for both countries and the eco fee are paid separately at each entrance. The whole itinerary is designed around fitting both sides into a single day without rushing the experience.

Can children come?

Yes. Ticket types: Youth (13 to 17 years); Child (9 to 12 years); Infant (under 9).

What's the difference between the Argentine and Brazilian sides of Iguazu Falls?

The Argentine side offers immersive trails that bring you close to the falls, including the 1.2 km walkway to Devil's Gorge and a 2 km upper circuit with viewpoints among the vegetation. The Brazilian side is built for panoramic views. You see all 275 falls spread out across the landscape, and the vantage point of Devil's Gorge from this side gives you a different perspective on the same gorge you saw up close on the Argentine side.

Do I have to pay extra for park entry?

Yes, park entry tickets are not included in the tour price. Argentine park entry is approximately $35 USD and Brazilian entry is approximately $25 USD. There is also a $2 USD tourist eco fee. These are paid at each park entrance during the tour.

Can I add a boat ride to this tour?

Yes, a boat ride is optional and available as an add-on at checkout. The boat takes you into the heart of the falls. You'll get wet and experience the falls from water level, which is a more intense way to feel the power of the falls than the trails offer.

What time does the tour start and how long does it take?

The tour departs at 7:30 from your hotel and runs between 7 and 9 hours depending on how much time you spend at each stop and whether you add the boat ride. Hotel pickup is included.

Is the walk on the Brazilian side difficult?

The 1.8 km walk on the Brazilian side is flat and is suitable for all physical fitness levels. The Argentine side includes a 1.2 km walkway to Devil's Gorge and a 2 km upper circuit trail, both of which are also manageable for most visitors. Wheelchairs and strollers are accessible on both sides.
