The experience
Nine hours door-to-door means you leave your hotel after breakfast and return by early afternoon. The guide picks you up from selected hotels in downtown Puerto Iguazu, then drives you across the border to the Brazilian side of Iguaçu National Park. Entry is controlled at the Visitor Center, where you pass through individually before boarding a park bus that takes you to the start of the walking route.
The path itself runs 1,200 meters along the Iguazú River Canyon. You move past the Salto Rivadavia and the Three Musketeers, with a panoramic view of the Argentine jumps early on: a natural photo stop. The route climbs gradually toward the lower lookout, which sits about 200 meters from Devil's Throat. Rainbows form permanently in the mist here, shifting through the day as the sun moves. At the end, an elevator carries seniors and people with disabilities straight to the parking level. Everyone else walks back to the same meeting point.
Choose between a group tour with up to 30 passengers or a small-group tour with up to 20 passengers when you book. Both include the same route, guide and park entry. The difference is the size of the group around you. The guide speaks English, Spanish, Italian, French or one additional language depending on the departure. Note that this tour departs only from Puerto Iguazu. It does not run from the Brazilian side of the border.

Is this one for you?The small-group option suits travelers who prefer fewer people on the path and more room to linger at viewpoints. The group option works for those comfortable in a larger crowd and wanting the lowest per-person cost. Either way, the half-day length fits a schedule that includes time in Puerto Iguazu or a second activity the same day.
