The experience
Your guide picks you up at your hotel and drives you first to Itaipu Dam, the world's largest producer of clean energy. The scale here is the point: a hydroelectric facility so vast it supplies power across multiple countries. After the dam, the route heads to Parque das Aves, a bird park housing over 1,100 animals across more than 140 species: roughly half of them rescues, the rest bred on-site. The macaws are the draw, and the park specializes in them.
The final stop is the Brazilian side of Iguazu Falls, where 275 waterfalls cascade across the landscape. This is the largest set of waterfalls on the planet, and the Brazilian vantage gives you the panoramic view. The Argentine side, across the border, offers closer approaches to individual falls. Your guide stays with you throughout, and the vehicle is air-conditioned for the driving between sites. When the tour ends, you're dropped back at your hotel.
