The experience
The day starts with an hour drive from Belize City to the zipline site in the jungle. You'll strap into a harness and clip onto six lines strung between the trees, with the last two runs taking you out over the river and back. The whole zipline section takes about 45 minutes, and you're moving the whole time: no standing around waiting for others.
After ziplining, you hike 30 minutes deeper into the jungle carrying your cave tubing gear: helmet, life jacket, headlight and inner tube. Then you float for roughly 40 minutes through Caves Branch, drifting past the cave walls your light picks out of the dark, then another 20 minutes down the open river before heading back. The cave section is slow and steady (you're floating, not paddling), and the guide stays with the group the whole way.
Pickup happens from your hotel, Airbnb, cruise ship terminal or the municipal airstrip depending on where you're staying. If you're arriving by cruise ship, you'll need to provide your ship name, docking time and re-boarding time at booking so the timing works with your port call. The minivan is air-conditioned, and bottled water is included throughout the day.

Top questions
What languages is the guide in?
Live guide in English and Spanish.
Can children come?
Yes. Ticket types: Child (under 13).
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
How many ziplines do I actually zip on?
You zip on six lines total. The last two runs cross the river and come back, so you're moving between the jungle and over water.
What's the cave tubing part like?
You float on an inner tube through Caves Branch for about 40 minutes, wearing a helmet with a headlight so you can see the cave walls, stalactites and crystal formations around you. After the cave section, you float another 20 minutes down the open river.
Do I need to be fit to do this?
You should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness. The jungle hike before cave tubing is 30 minutes and involves walking through terrain with your gear. Ziplining requires you to be able to clip in and move along the lines, but the guide handles the technical setup.
What if I'm arriving by cruise ship?
Pickup happens right outside your cruise terminal and drop-off is back at the terminal. At booking, provide your ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time so the 5.5-hour activity fits inside your port call. Refunds won't be issued if you miss the activity because your ship was late or you didn't disembark on time.
Is there an age or height requirement for cave tubing?
You must be at least 40 inches tall to do the cave tubing section. Infants can come along but must sit on an adult's lap during transport.
