The experience
The boat leaves Praiano and sails along the Amalfi Coast through the marine protected area of Punta Campanella, where the seabed and rocky shoreline stay undisturbed. You pass old defensive towers, hidden beaches and limestone cliffs before reaching Capri's eastern side, where the White Grotto appears first: a cave with pure white rock walls and crystal-clear water that shifts color as sunlight filters through the entrance. The Natural Arch, a collapsed grotto dating from the Paleolithic age, stands nearby on the same stretch of coast.
The Faraglioni rocks come next: four imposing formations that inspired legends and artists, with Saetta the only one still attached to the island. The boat pauses here for photos and swimming. From there you move to the Green Grotto, where the water glows emerald and stalactites hang from the ceiling: a swim in this location reveals the cave's full color. On request, the guide can take you to the Blue Grotto as well, though entry depends on sea conditions and boat queues. The ticket is bought separately at the site.
Marina Piccola, Capri's most exclusive waterfront, is where you stop for three hours. Lunch happens at a traditional restaurant overlooking the water, and the rest of the time is yours to walk inland, visit shops or simply rest. On the return to Praiano, the boat makes one more swimming and snorkeling stop at Li Galli, the three-island archipelago off Positano, before heading back with prosecco in hand.

Top questions
What languages is the guide in?
Live guide in English, Spanish and Italian.
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24h before the start.
Can I swim at all the grottoes on this tour from Praiano?
The White Grotto, Green Grotto and Li Galli all allow swimming. The Blue Grotto is optional and depends on sea conditions and the queue of boats waiting to enter. If the swell is rough or the line exceeds an hour, entry may not be possible that day.
What's included to drink and eat on the eight-hour tour?
Prosecco, beer, limoncello, Aperol Spritz, cola, lemon soda and bottled water are all on the boat in a cooler. Dry snacks (chips, peanuts, olives and others) are provided. Lunch at Marina Piccola is not included and you order and pay at the restaurant.
How much free time do I have to explore Capri itself?
Three hours at Marina Piccola is set aside for lunch and exploring inland. You can walk to shops, restaurants and viewpoints in the town, or stay by the water.
Is this tour private to my group, or will there be other travelers on the boat?
This is a private tour for your group only. The boat carries a maximum of six passengers, so no other groups join you.
What happens if the sea is rough when we want to visit the Blue Grotto?
The Blue Grotto's entrance is exposed to swells and strong winds, which can make it unsafe or impossible to enter. If conditions are poor or the queue of boats is very long on the day of your tour, you may not be able to visit. The guide will decide based on what's safe. The entry ticket is purchased on-site only if you go.
Do I need to bring anything, or is there shade and a toilet on the boat?
The gozzo has a canopy for shade on the aft and a separate toilet. Bring sunscreen, a swimsuit and a towel. The boat provides everything else for comfort and refreshment.
