After that we visited Tirta Empul Temple — people were queuing to bathe in holy water, incense everywhere, families laughing quietly in corners. It felt respectful to just watch for a while. Later we walked Tegalalang Rice Terrace as the sun dropped low; green steps folding into each other forever. I still think about that view sometimes when things get noisy back home.
