The experience

Your guide picks you up from your hotel and drives you north to Tegalalang Rice Terrace, where the rice grows in emerald ridges that UNESCO recognized as a world heritage site. You walk the terraces with your guide, frame photographs, and have the option to swing out over the valley on a jungle swing if you want the adrenaline rush. From there you head to Tirta Empul Temple, where you can take part in a cleansing ritual in the holy water pools at the temple's center.
