The Experience

Your guide picks you up at your hotel and drives you through Ubud's landscape, starting with Tegalalang Rice Terrace — a sprawl of green hillside carved into terraces that give a clear view of how the paddies step down the slope. From there you move to Tegenungan Waterfall, where fresh mountain water flows in volume down a river face. The day unfolds at your pace: you decide which stops matter most, and the guide adjusts accordingly.

Mas Village is a working community where artisans produce wood carvings of high quality — you can walk through and shop for handicrafts, or move on. Elephant Cave is an 11th-century temple site where archaeological detail survives in the stone. The Ubud Monkey Forest spans 12.5 hectares and holds around 700 Balinese long-tailed macaques living wild among three temples nested inside the forest; you walk the paths as the monkeys move freely around you. Later you browse the Ubud Art Market for souvenirs, then visit Ubud Palace to see the royal architecture before lunch at a jungle restaurant that overlooks the valley.

Lunch and a jungle swing are optional add-ons you choose at checkout. Entrance fees to all sites, bottled water and the full 10-hour day are included. The guide handles the driving and the logistics, so you move between stops without navigating or managing transport yourself.
