The experience

Your guide meets you at 9:00 am at your hotel and the tour begins in a private air-conditioned van. You'll stand in front of the Great Pyramid, built by Pharaoh Khufu, and move through the three famous pyramids of Giza and the queen pyramids with someone who knows the history and can answer the questions that actually matter. A licensed Egyptologist with over 20 years of experience walks you through what you're looking at instead of rushing you past it, and you set the pace. There's no group schedule pushing you forward.

At the panoramic area, you have the choice to ride a camel for 30 minutes and photograph the three pyramids together, or stay and explore on foot. After Giza, a short drive takes you to the Valley Temple funerary complex to see one of Egypt's finest statues. The whole tour runs about five hours. Lunch at a quality restaurant is available if you want it, and entrance fees to the pyramids are handled in advance. You skip the line at the gate.
