The experience

The day starts with the Giza pyramid complex. You'll see the Great Pyramid of Khufu (built from roughly 2.3 million limestone blocks and standing about 139 meters tall), then the Pyramid of Khafre at 136 meters. From the Giza Plateau, all three pyramids line up in a single view, which is where most photographs happen. The Great Sphinx stands nearby, its weathered limestone face facing the desert after millennia. A guide walks you through each site and handles the entry fees.

After the pyramids, you ride an ATV for an hour around the Giza area. The quad bike activity is the centerpiece of the afternoon. You operate the machine yourself through the desert landscape near the monuments. A camel ride follows, then there's time to browse for souvenirs before the evening shift begins.

At sunset, you board a dinner cruise on the Nile River. The boat includes a belly dancing performance and a Tanora show. Soft drinks, hot beverages and cold drinks are available for purchase. The buffet dinner and entertainment are part of the cruise depending on your option. After the show, the driver returns you to your hotel. The whole day runs about eight hours from pickup to drop-off.

What's the difference between the ATV ride and the camel ride on this tour?

The ATV ride lasts about an hour and you operate the quad bike yourself through the desert near the pyramids. The camel ride is a separate, shorter experience. You sit on the animal while it moves. Both happen on the same day.

Does this tour include the Nile dinner cruise for everyone, or is it an add-on?
