The experience

The day starts with pickup from your hotel in Seminyak, Legian, Kuta, Jimbaran, Sanur, Tanah Lot, Ubud or Nusa Dua. Your driver speaks English and handles all the navigation, so you move between stops without planning the route or managing transport yourself. The first stop is Tegenungan Waterfall, one of the few in Bali that sits at a lower elevation. You walk down steps to reach the stream and see the waterfall against clean water and a cool forest atmosphere.

From there the tour moves through the art villages: Mas Village, known for wood carving and sculpture, and the batik weaving village where you watch artisans work by hand. Both stops let you see the process and browse finished pieces. The Ubud Art Market comes next if time allows, a traditional marketplace where vendors sell art and handicrafts along the street. Batuan Temple, a Hindu shrine with a distinctive black palm roof, teaches the spiritual architecture of Bali. The guide explains its significance as you walk the grounds.

The Sacred Monkey Forest holds around 670 Balinese long-tailed macaques living among temple grounds and forest paths. The rice terraces, Tegelalang, are the visual anchor of the day: emerald-green stepped landscapes carved over 2,000 years by hand. You also visit a coffee plantation where you see how coffee is made and taste it. Entrance fees to all sites, petrol, parking and mineral water are included. The driver returns you to your hotel at the end of the eight hours.
