The Experience
The day starts at the Bali Jungle Swing Experience, where you soar through the treetops on different swings and nests set high in the canopy — the kind of spot built for photographs. From there the tour moves into the working villages around Ubud: Celuk Village, where you watch artisans at work in silver crafting; Mas Village, known for wood carving; and the art village where traditional batik hand weaving, wood carving and painting happen in front of you. These are not museums or staged demonstrations — people are making things to sell, and you see the process as it happens.
Batuan Temple comes next, one of Bali's most visited temples, followed by Tegenungan Waterfall. The waterfall sits in green surroundings and you can either take a short walk down to the water or view it from the top of the hill, depending on how much time you want to spend there. Lunch is included in the tour, and your driver speaks English throughout the day. The whole tour runs eight to ten hours from pickup at your hotel in Ubud, Sanur, Denpasar, Kuta, Jimbaran or Nusa Dua, with drop-off back at the same place.
A vegetarian meal option is available if you let the operator know when you book. Children from age eight are welcome on this tour. The driver covers all entrance fees, fuel and parking, so there are no surprise costs once you're on the road.
