The experience
You arrive at Swing Heaven after hotel pickup and a short transfer through Ubud. The guide meets you, hands you a welcome drink, and walks you through the safety setup: harness, carabiners, the mechanics of each swing. The site sits deep in the jungle, with the Ayung River valley visible below the canopy. This is not a single swing you ride once. It's a series of stations you move through at your own pace, trying different swings and stopping at photo nests whenever you want to shoot.
The four swings each feel different. The single swing is the straightforward rush. You step off a platform and arc out over the valley. The tandem swing is built for two, so couples or friends swing together. The bed swing is gentler, more of a glide than a plunge. The adrenaline swing is the one designed to pump your heart. It's the steepest drop and the longest arc. Between swings, you reach photo nests (a bird nest, a chicken nest, a heart nest, an egg-shaped nest) built into the trees and rigged so you can pose for photos without moving. There's also a large stone platform with a view straight down the river valley, a jungle bed for resting, and a stairway to heaven if you want another vantage point.
The guide stays with your group, handles safety checks, and can shoot photos if you ask. You move at your own speed. There's no fixed itinerary or schedule pushing you through. If you book the option with lunch or the Ubud tour add-on, those happen before or after the swings, depending on what you choose at checkout. A minimum of two people per booking means you're never alone, and children from age five are welcome as long as an adult is with them.
