The Experience

“You’ve never tried paratha until you’ve had it in Chandni Chowk,” our guide said, grinning as we dodged rickshaws and a cow that seemed to know exactly where it was going. Delhi hit me all at once—spices in the air, horns everywhere, someone selling marigolds on the curb. We’d barely landed and already I was scribbling notes about Qutub Minar’s carvings while my shoes got dusty.
