The experience

The tour starts with pickup from your hotel, airport, or any location in Delhi, Noida, or Gurugram. Your first day covers New Delhi's landmarks: Qutub Minar (a 73-metre UNESCO tower built in 1193), the Lotus Temple with its distinctive flower shape, India Gate, Parliament House, and the Presidential Palace, before a three-hour drive through the Yamuna Expressway takes you to Agra. You'll stay overnight in either a 4-star or 5-star hotel depending on your package choice.

Day two begins before dawn. You'll watch the sun rise over the Taj Mahal, then spend roughly two hours inside with your guide learning how Mughal Emperor Shahjahan built it in 1630 as a tomb for his wife. A battery bus carries you from the parking lot to the monument itself. After breakfast back at your hotel, you'll tour Agra Fort (another UNESCO site and former residence of the Mughal emperors), before the five-hour drive to Jaipur. The Tomb of I'timād-ud-Daulah, often called the "Bachcha Taj," is also on this leg.

Jaipur's city tour on day three includes Panna Meena ka Kund (a step well), Jal Mahal (a palace in the middle of Man Sagar Lake), the City Palace built in 1721, Jantar Mantar (a collection of 19 astronomical instruments from 1734), and the Hawa Mahal. The five-storey Palace of Winds made of red and pink sandstone. On day four, you'll return to Delhi by around 2pm, or be dropped at Jaipur airport if you prefer. The driver and guides are fully vaccinated. Mineral water is provided during journeys, and breakfast is included on three mornings. Your guide will help you buy entrance tickets so you skip the queues.
