The Experience

From there you travel to Agra—roughly 200 km away—where the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and the Tomb of I'timad-ud-Daulah are the main stops. The final leg takes you to Jaipur, where Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal, Jantar Mantar and Mubarak Mahal are on the itinerary. A guide who speaks English travels with you throughout, and the vehicle is air-conditioned for the stretches between cities.

Each of the three cities has a 3-star hotel where you stay overnight, so you're not rushing through the sights in a single day. The guide handles the route and the stops; you move through the itinerary without having to book transport separately or figure out which monument comes next. Shopping opportunities are built into the stops in Delhi, Agra and Jaipur if you want to pick up local goods.
