A tandem paragliding flight over Costa Adeje, Tenerife, where you fly strapped into a harness with an expert pilot who manages the glide while you take in views of ravines, mountains and the Atlantic. The flight lasts 15–20 minutes. Pickup from your hotel in Costa Adeje, Las Américas, Playa Paraíso or Callao Salvaje is included, and all safety equipment comes with it. The Experience

You get picked up from your hotel in the south coast resorts and driven to the launch point at nearly 800 meters. The pilot fits you into a tandem harness, walks you through what to expect, and when the wind is right, you both run off the mountain together. There's no equipment to operate. Your job is to sit back in the harness and follow the pilot's cues as they steer you through the air. The flight itself runs 15–20 minutes, long enough to drift above Barranco del Infierno ravine, Tejina Mountain, and out over the Atlantic. The pilot points out the landmarks as you pass them and handles all the turns and adjustments needed to stay aloft.

All safety gear (harness, helmet, and liability insurance) comes with the booking. The flight is beginner-friendly. You don't need any prior experience or special fitness level, and children from age 6 can fly. If you're prone to motion sickness, the flight itself is normally stable, though some days the pilot may make turns to catch thermals, which can trigger nausea in sensitive travelers. Anti-motion medication taken before arrival works the same way it would on a car ride. Bring comfortable clothes, a windbreaker (mountain air is cooler), sports shoes, sunscreen and water. A photo ID is required.

After landing, you can add photos and video to your booking. The pilot captures 70–100 photos during the flight from different angles, plus a shot of you on the mountain with the equipment. That's €35. A premium package for €45 includes all those photos plus 3–5 in-flight videos and clips of your takeoff prep. Both options are booked at checkout, so you decide before you fly whether you want the images.

What's included in the pickup, and which hotels does it cover?

Hotel pickup is included from anywhere in Costa Adeje, Las Américas, Playa Paraíso, and Callao Salvaje. The driver collects you and brings you back after landing. If you're staying in Los Cristianos, pickup is only available for the 10am flight.

Do I need any paragliding experience to do this?

No experience is needed. The flight is beginner-friendly. You sit in the harness while the pilot handles all the flying. Children from age 6 can fly, and the activity suits all fitness levels.

What happens if I'm prone to motion sickness?

The paragliding flight is normally very stable and smooth. Some days the pilot makes turns to stay inside thermals and extend the flight, which can cause dizziness in people sensitive to motion. If you're excessively prone to seasickness, take the same anti-motion medication you would take on a car journey, taken before arrival.
