Tandem paragliding in Tenerife South pairs you with a certified instructor for a 15–20 minute flight over Adeje's mountains and coastline. Pickup from your location, full equipment, briefing and step-by-step instruction are included. The instructor films video and photos during the flight, and you can request to take the controls if conditions allow.

The experience

Your instructor picks you up and drives you to the launch site in an air-conditioned vehicle. Once there, you get a complete briefing on how paragliding works, how the equipment fits, and what to expect in the air. The homologated gear (a tandem harness, parachute and windstopper jacket) is provided. After a few steps forward and a running start, you're airborne, gliding over the Adeje mountains and the coastline below for roughly 15–20 minutes. If weather holds steady, your instructor may hand you the controls so you can pilot for the first time.

Throughout the flight, your instructor captures video and photos of the best moments. Landing is straightforward: you follow the pilot's instructions, touch down, and then take time to review the footage on your phone. Afterward, you head to a beach bar to relax with a drink and let the adrenaline settle.

No experience is required. Children from age 6 are welcome, and the activity suits all fitness levels. You do need to be able to walk and run a few meters, and your weight must fall between 25 kg and 100 kg. The guide speaks English, Spanish, Italian, German and one additional language. If weather turns unfavorable (unexpected strong wind or low visibility), the operator rebooks you free of charge for another date or refunds you in full.
