The Experience

The whole experience—from takeoff to landing—runs about 2 hours, with the actual flight lasting 15–20 minutes.

Pickup happens from your hotel or residence anywhere in Costa Adeje, including Las Americas, Playa Paraiso and Callao Salvaje. You arrive at the launch site, get suited into a harness and helmet, and the pilot handles all the flying while you experience the maneuvers firsthand. All safety equipment is homologated, and liability insurance is built in. The descent speed reaches up to 10 m/s, so this is genuinely intense—not a gentle float.

No prior paragliding experience is needed; the instructors guide you through the whole thing. Children as young as 6 can fly if accompanied by a guardian, though the operator notes that passengers over 105 kilograms cannot participate. Weather can force a reschedule or cancellation, so the operator will rebook you for another day or time if conditions don't cooperate. Wear comfortable clothes, sports shoes and bring a sweater—it's cooler at altitude. Sunblock, sunglasses and a hat are worth packing too.
