Step-by-step itinerary
Explore Jeju Island's top attractions
- Climb Seongsan Ilchulbong volcanic crater
- Visit Seopjikoji coastal filming location
- Tour Seongeup Folk Village or museum
- Walk around Dongmun Traditional Market
The experience
Seongsan Ilchulbong is the centerpiece: a UNESCO-listed volcanic crater where you climb to see the coastline and islets spread below. The route then moves to Seopjikoji, a clifftop site famous for Korean drama filming, where spring brings yellow flowers and fall brings wild grasses and a quieter mood. Both stops are built around what you walk and see, not a rushed photo stop.
Seongeup Folk Village preserves Joseon Dynasty stone architecture designed to withstand wind and Japanese invasion. The buildings are designated folk relics and still stand largely intact. Dongmun Traditional Market is the final stop, a working market where you can pick up street food and souvenirs without a guide narrating every stall. The tour wraps in time to get you back to the ship.
The guide speaks English and drives. Fuel, parking and insurance are included, as is entry to all attractions. Groups run between 6 and 16 people depending on vehicle size. You'll need to confirm the booking three days before departure, and the tour operates only if the minimum group size is met: otherwise the operator offers an alternative date or full refund.

Is this one for you?The 5- to 9-hour window is built around the cruise ship's port call, so you see four major sites and still make it back to the pier on time. If you have a longer day in port, you'll have time to linger at each stop. If the ship's schedule is tight, the guide keeps the pace brisk.
