The experience

The tour runs 4 hours from your hotel in downtown Jeju City, and the driver arrives with your taxi plate number sent in advance. You pick your starting point from any East Jeju parking lot (Seongsan Ilchulbong, Sangumburi Crater, Seopjikoji, Manjanggul Cave, Woljeongri Beach, or one of a dozen other sites), then choose 2 or 3 main attractions to visit. The route is yours to shape, and you can change it right up until the driver picks you up. Once the tour starts, the itinerary is locked.

Transport comes in four sizes: a regular taxi, jumbo taxi, van for up to 15 passengers, or minibus for up to 7. A Korean-speaking driver is included in every option. If you want an English-speaking guide instead, that's an add-on at checkout. Fuel and parking fees are built in. If you stay longer than 4 hours, you pay the driver directly for each extra 30 minutes (rates vary by vehicle type). Mileage over 140 km per day also carries an extra charge, calculated per 10 km.

Pickup and drop-off happen within downtown Jeju City at no extra cost. If your hotel or endpoint sits outside downtown, an additional fee applies (30,000–120,000 KRW depending on distance). The tour works as a transfer with stops, not as a guided sightseeing experience: the driver takes you where you want to go, but does not narrate the sites or manage your time at each one.

Four hours covers 2–3 main attractions with travel time between them, depending on distance and how long you spend at each site. You can extend the tour by up to 2 hours for an additional fee paid directly to the driver. Rates range from 30,000 to 70,000 KRW per extra hour depending on your vehicle type.

Do I need to pay extra if my hotel is outside downtown Jeju City?

What's the difference between the van and minibus options?
