The experience
The day starts with a short hike through Hallasan National Park's lower slopes, where the volcanic cone rises above Jeju City and the island's layered geology spreads out underfoot. Weather can shift the exact trail (the route may move to the 1100 Altitude Wetland or Saebyeol Oreum instead), but the panoramic views of Hallasan itself anchor the morning either way. From there you move to the O'Sulloc Tea Museum, where you walk through wide green tea fields and taste green tea desserts inside the museum itself, a direct look at how Jeju's tea culture works from plant to cup.
The afternoon takes you to two of Jeju's most photographed coastal sites. Jusangjeolli Cliff rises as hexagonal stone pillars: nature-carved columns formed by cooling lava that line the turquoise coast and earned UNESCO Global Geopark status. Jeongbang Waterfall comes next, one of Asia's rarest: fresh water cascading down from Hallasan plunges straight into the ocean rather than pooling inland, a sight most waterfalls never reach. The final stop is Hueree Nature Park during the Pink Muhly Festival, where soft pink grass fills the gardens and black pigs roam the grounds, a seasonal display that shifts with the year.
Your guide speaks English or Chinese throughout and knows the stories behind each site. You can end the tour at your original pickup point or ask to finish at Dongmun Traditional Market, where you can try local street food on your own. Pickup happens at one of four major locations (Ocean Suites Hotel, Lotte Duty Free, Jeju Airport, or Shilla Duty Free) each with its own start time between 8:20 and 9:00 AM.

Top questions
What is the hike at Hallasan like for someone who is not a serious trekker?
The Hallasan trail is described as easy and short, offering panoramic views without technical climbing. It is designed as part of a full-day tour, so the physical demand stays moderate. The operator notes travelers should have at least a moderate level of fitness.
Can I see the Pink Muhly Festival flowers on every date this tour runs?
Hueree Nature Park's pink muhly grass is seasonal and peaks at specific times of year. The tour visits the park during the festival window, but the exact bloom timing depends on weather and the season. Confirm the current bloom status when you book.
Does the tour include meals or stops to eat?
Meals are not included in the tour price. You can taste green tea desserts at the O'Sulloc Tea Museum and try local street food at Dongmun Traditional Market if you choose that as your drop-off point, but these are optional and at your own cost.
What happens if the weather is bad on the day of my tour?
The Hallasan hike may shift to the 1100 Altitude Wetland or Saebyeol Oreum depending on weather conditions, but the tour continues. The coastal stops (Jusangjeolli Cliff, Jeongbang Waterfall, and Hueree Nature Park) operate regardless of weather.
Which pickup point should I choose?
You can pick from Ocean Suites Hotel (9:00 AM), Lotte Duty Free (8:30 AM), Jeju Airport (8:45 AM), or Shilla Duty Free (8:20 AM). Choose the location closest to where you are staying or arriving. The tour ends at your original pickup point or at Dongmun Traditional Market if you prefer.
