Walk through endless green tea rows, then stand where a waterfall meets the ocean

A nine to ten-hour guided tour of Jeju City's southern coast covers Hueree Nature Life Park, Jeongbang Waterfall, Jusangjeolli Cliff, O'Sulloc Tea Museum and Mt. Halla's Eoseungsaengak Trail, with pickup from four locations across the city and a licensed English-speaking guide. Hueree admission (KRW 8,000 by cash or KRW 12,000 by card) is paid on-site; the itinerary adjusts for weather and seasonal conditions, with alternative stops available if access is restricted.

  • See Jeongbang Waterfall or Cheonjiyeon Waterfall
  • Explore Jusangjeolli Cliff
  • Visit O’sulloc Tea Museum and green tea fields
  • Hike Mt. Halla Eoseungsaengak Trail or alternative trails
  • Tour ends at drop-off location

The Experience

The tour starts with pickup from one of four locations — Ocean Suites Hotel at 9:10am, Lotte Duty Free at 8:40am, Shilla Duty Free at 8:30am, or Jeju Airport at 8:55am — and moves through the day in an air-conditioned vehicle with a licensed guide. Parking and fuel are covered, so the logistics of getting between stops are already arranged.

Hueree Nature Life Park opens the itinerary with seasonal flowers and easy walking paths through quiet countryside; from July through September, this stop may be replaced with Oedolgae Rock depending on conditions. Jeongbang Waterfall comes next — a rare sight where water flows directly into the sea — though if weather closes access, the guide will take you to Cheonjiyeon Waterfall instead. Jusangjeolli Cliff follows, a formation of black hexagonal stone pillars that rise like a folding screen along the coast.

O'Sulloc Tea Museum is where the afternoon slows down. You walk through wide green tea fields, then move into the museum to taste green tea and sample desserts. The final stop is Mt. Halla's Eoseungsaengak Trail, though snow, weather or traffic may shift this to the 1100 Altitude Wetland or Saebyeol Oreum instead. The tour officially ends at Dongmun Traditional Market, where you can explore local street food on your own time — the guide does not conduct a tour there.

Top questions

What is Jeongbang Waterfall and why is it worth seeing?

Jeongbang Waterfall is rare because it flows directly into the sea rather than into a river or pool below. The tour includes it as a main stop on the south coast route, though if weather restricts access, the guide will visit Cheonjiyeon Waterfall instead.

Do I need to pay extra for Hueree Nature Life Park?

Yes, Hueree admission is paid on-site directly to your guide: KRW 8,000 if you pay by cash or KRW 12,000 if you pay by card. This fee is not included in the tour price.

What happens at O'Sulloc Tea Museum?

O'Sulloc Tea Museum is Korea's premier tea destination. You walk through endless rows of green tea fields, then enter the museum to taste green tea and enjoy green tea desserts while viewing exhibitions.

Can the itinerary change, and if so, why?

Yes — the tour adjusts based on weather, snow, traffic and seasonal conditions. Hueree may be replaced with Oedolgae Rock from July to September; Jeongbang Waterfall may shift to Cheonjiyeon Waterfall if access is restricted; and Mt. Halla's Eoseungsaengak Trail may become the 1100 Altitude Wetland or Saebyeol Oreum instead. Your guide makes these decisions on-site.

Which pickup location works best for me?

Pickup times vary by location: Shilla Duty Free at 8:30am, Lotte Duty Free at 8:40am, Jeju Airport at 8:55am, or Ocean Suites Hotel at 9:10am. Choose the one closest to where you are staying or arriving.

Is this tour physically demanding?

The tour includes easy walking paths at Hueree and Mt. Halla's Eoseungsaengak Trail, so it suits all fitness levels. It is not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health, and children must be at least 6 years old to participate.
