The experience
The day opens at a seasonal landmark: Ora-dong Field in spring or autumn, where canola and buckwheat flowers blanket rolling hills, or one of five other sites depending on the month you visit. This is the same countryside where the K-drama When Life Gives You Tangerines was filmed, so if you recognize the landscape, that's why. From there the route moves through the island's café culture: a tangerine café built inside a former rock storage house, run by granddaughters while their grandparents still tend the farm next door, and Cafe Honeymoon House, a clifftop spot that doubled as a filming location for the drama Suriname. The guide handles all driving and navigation.
The Teddy Bear Museum sits in the middle of the day. You walk through displays of vintage and costumed bears (including ones dressed as Jeju's traditional women divers), and you have the option to make your own bear in fifteen minutes, choosing the fur, face and accessories (the making fee is separate). Later, you'll stop at Oedolgae, a twenty-meter sea stack rising from turquoise water and framed by windswept pines. It's another K-drama filming spot, this one from Jewel in the Palace. The final stops are Hugely Jeju, a coastal café known for Hallabong-shaped ice cream and a wave projection on the second floor, and the Dongmun Night Market, where you can browse fresh seafood, local tangerines and street food, including items favored by BLACKPINK.
Lunch happens at a local restaurant partway through, and you pay for your own meal there. Vegetarian menus are available. The tour lasts roughly eight hours from pickup to drop-off, with the remaining time accounted for by travel between stops. Transport is by coach with a professional driver and certified guide speaking English.
