A 2-day motorcycle tour of the Ha Giang loop in Northern Vietnam, riding through Dong Van Karst Plateau with an experienced guide and staying overnight in Dong Van town. What makes this tour different from a self-drive is the guide who knows which stops matter and where the light hits best for photos. You ride as a passenger on the back of an easy rider's motorcycle, which means you see the road without navigating it (the Bac Sum pass, Heaven Gate, the Twin mountains near Tam Son), and stop when something catches the eye instead of hunting for it. The first day ends in Dong Van town, where you have dinner and overnight in a hotel or homestay, then free time to walk the ancient streets.

Day two is built around Ma Pi Leng pass, the 22km stretch from Dong Van to Meo Vac that the itinerary names as the most beautiful pass in Vietnam. You ride through it in daylight, stop for photos, then continue to Meo Vac and lunch in Yen Minh before heading back to Ha Giang. The whole route stays on the Ha Giang loop, so you're not backtracking: each day moves forward through the landscape.

The guide speaks Vietnamese and carries knowledge of the local life and the Hmong communities in the valleys. The Hmong King palace in Sa Phin is a specific stop where that history becomes visible. Entrance fees to the Geopark and all transportation are covered, as is water throughout the day. Bring your own drinks beyond water. Tips and other personal expenses are separate.
