A three-day guided motorbike tour through Ha Giang loops through Dong Van, Meo Vac and Ma Pi Leng Pass on a 110cc bike with an experienced local guide and trained driver. Groups stay under ten riders, and you sleep in private rooms at local homestays each night. Meals are included, and the tour can be arranged from Hanoi with sleeper bus pickup on request. Day 1 — Ha Giang to Dong Van Town

Day 3 — Du Gia to Ha Giang City

• Walk around Du Gia village
• Visit Du Gia waterfall
• Depart back to Ha Giang city
• Stop at Duong Thuong valley and Lung Tam weaving village
• Have lunch at Tam Son town - Quan Ba
• Return to Ha Giang city and rest

The Experience

The loop starts in Ha Giang City with breakfast, then climbs into the mountains through Quan Ba Heaven Gate and the Bac Sum Slope. By midday you're at Yen Minh for lunch, then the road opens toward Dong Van through Tham Ma Pass and Pho Cao village. The first day ends at a homestay in Sung La valley or Sa Phin, where you'll visit Lung Cam cultural village and see the Tam Giac Mach buckwheat fields and Moon rock formations—all stops that only a motorbike can reach on this schedule.

Day two takes you by boat down the Nho Que River to see Tu San canyon, the highest in Southeast Asia, a natural formation that exists nowhere else in the region. You return to Meo Vac for lunch, then ride through endless winding valleys to Du Gia, a remote commune where you overnight at another homestay and eat Tay cuisine with corn wine. The roads here are poor quality, but that's the point: no bus reaches Du Gia, and the landscape rewards the ride.

On the final morning you bathe in Du Gia waterfall, then ride back toward Ha Giang through Duong Thuong valley and Lung Tam weaving village. Lunch is in Tam Son at Quan Ba, and you're back in Ha Giang City by around 5 p.m., where you can shower and rest at the hostel before your onward journey. The motorbike and helmet are provided; you choose whether to ride your own bike or ride as a passenger with an Easy Rider driver.
