The day starts at An's Home at 8:30 and moves through the Ha Giang Loop on a 150cc motorbike, with your guide handling the driving so you can take in the route. The first stop is Bac Sum pass, followed by a hike to Khau Lan waterfall where you can swim if the season allows. The landscape shifts between steep mountain valleys and ethnic minority villages, each with its own rhythm and way of life.

Lunch happens at 12:30, then the afternoon takes you through Twin mountains and into Lung Tam village, where you'll see how local people live day to day. A short drive leads to Thai An waterfall and a boat trip on Cat Ly before the return to An's Home by 4 p.m. The whole loop is built around the terrain itself (the passes, the water, the villages) rather than a list of photo stops.
