The experience
The boat leaves Massa Lubrense port in the morning and follows the Sorrento coastline toward Capri. Your guide speaks English, Spanish or Italian and points out the landmarks as you approach the island. The first real stop is the Faraglioni (three limestone stacks that rise from the water and are the symbol of Capri), where you'll have time to swim, snorkel in the clear water and take photos from the boat with an aperitif on board.
After the Faraglioni, the tour circles the island to show you the Green Grotto and White Grotto, both reachable only by boat. The Green Grotto is known for its turquoise water. The White Grotto has colorful rocks and a natural rock formation locals call the Virgin Marine. You'll also pass Marina Grande, where yachts and private boats anchor, and the Punta Carena Lighthouse, one of Italy's largest. If you want to enter the Blue Grotto (the most famous cave on the island), that's an optional stop with a separate payment of 14 euros per adult. The boat waits while you climb down into a smaller rowboat for the final approach.
The return journey follows the same route back to Massa Lubrense, where the driver picks you up and takes you to your hotel. Snorkeling masks are provided, and the boat carries bottled water, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages throughout the morning.
What’s included
- Hotel pickup and return transport.

- aperitif and drinks (soft drinks and alcoholic beverages) on board.
