The experience
The boat leaves from a rendezvous point and traces Capri's entire shoreline, moving past the Gennarino statue and the Red Coral Cave before reaching the White Grotto, where the water shifts color as light enters from below. You'll pass a famous clifftop villa, then approach the Faraglioni (the three limestone stacks that frame the island's most photographed view) close enough to frame them properly. Marina Piccola bay opens next, a sheltered anchorage where you can swim in the brilliant water and relax on deck between stops.
The Green Grotto comes later in the route, followed by a historic lighthouse (the second oldest and brightest in Italy), where evening swims are possible if the schedule allows. Near the end, the boat passes the Blue Grotto. Entry by small rowing boat is optional and costs extra. Snorkeling equipment, towels, coke, water and light snacks travel with you, so you're ready to enter the water whenever the boat stops.
The route takes four hours total. Infants can ride in a stroller, and service animals are welcome. One step leads onto the boat, which is otherwise not set up for wheelchair users. Public transport reaches the departure point.

Is this one for you?The boat moves at a leisurely pace with multiple swimming and photo stops, so you're in the water as much as on deck. Choose this if you want to swim and snorkel around Capri's caves rather than stay aboard the whole time. The four-hour length fits a half-day schedule without eating into a full afternoon on the island.
