The experience

Eight hours door-to-door, with two dives at Shark Point and nearby Padang Bai sites chosen by the dive leader based on sea conditions and your experience. Shark Point is known for frequent White Tip Reef Shark sightings alongside Green Turtles, Blue Spotted Stingrays, Moray Eels, and schools of snappers and surgeonfish. The sloping reefs and coral formations create the habitat that draws them. The currents that sometimes run through the site are part of what makes it more adventurous than Padang Bai's beginner spots, but still accessible to any certified diver.

The boat departs after hotel pickup between 6:30 and 7:15 AM from South Bali. You dive twice, with the dive leader staying with your group of up to four divers to point out marine life and navigate the site. Between dives, you shower and rest on the boat. Lunch and bottled water are served before the return journey, which lands you back in South Bali by approximately 4:00 to 5:00 PM. All scuba equipment is provided, and the air-conditioned vehicle includes WiFi for the drive.

The dive center operates as a PADI facility, so you'll fill out a medical form before the day starts. If you answer yes to any health questions on the form, you'll need a doctor's approval signature before diving. Bring that documentation with you if it applies.
