The experience

You're picked up from your Bali hotel and driven to Benoa harbour, where the catamaran departs at 9:15 AM for the cruise to Nusa Lembongan. The boat anchors alongside a purpose-built pontoon stacked with activities: snorkeling gear and instruction are provided, so you can get straight into the water to explore the reef and its coral without arranging anything yourself. The semi-submersible underwater chamber lets you watch marine life from a dry seat if you'd rather not get wet, and the 35-meter water slide launches from the pontoon into the lagoon.

Between 11 AM and 2 PM, unlimited banana boat rides run from the pontoon, as many trips as you want during that window. When you're ready to eat, an air-conditioned buffet is served aboard the catamaran with morning tea and pastries, afternoon tea and fresh fruit. The day also includes a guided village tour and a coral reef restoration workshop, so there's more than just water time. If you want to go deeper, introductory scuba diving with PADI-certified instructors is available as an add-on, as is parasailing.
