The experience

The boat leaves the mooring at 9:30 and heads along the coast, passing Vietri sul Mare, Cetara and Erchie before anchoring in a protected bay for the first swim. After you're back aboard, an aperitif is served, then the boat continues toward Amalfi for a stop of about an hour: mooring if conditions allow. Around 2pm to 2:30pm you anchor again near Conca dei Marini for a second swim, followed by a light lunch. The return journey to Salerno begins with the sails up if the wind permits, with a final stop off Cetara for another swim and refreshment with local desserts.

The activity runs with a minimum of four and maximum of eight passengers, so the boat stays small and the pace is set by the skipper's read of the sea and weather. Departure is at 9:30am and return to port is around 6pm. The skipper has the discretion to cancel if conditions deteriorate, so check the forecast the night before and confirm with the operator on the morning of your booking.
