The day begins with a 8am pickup from your hotel and a drive to the Ayung River, where you'll receive a safety briefing and gear from a professional guide before entering the water. The rafting itself covers white water sections through the jungle. After you're done, a free buffet lunch waits at the base. This is the part where you're actively paddling and navigating, not watching from a boat.

By mid-afternoon you'll head to Uluwatu Temple, perched on cliffs above the Indian Ocean. You'll be there in time for the sunset and the kecak fire dance performance: a rhythmic chant-and-fire spectacle that runs as the light fades. The temple grounds fill with tourists, but the timing locks you in for both the dance and the view across the water.
