You take a speedboat from Sanur to Nusa Penida, spend the day at four separate beaches and viewpoints with a private driver, swim in a natural pool, eat Indonesian lunch, and return by boat in the late afternoon. All entry fees, the boat tickets, and transport on the island are included, so you only show up at pickup and follow the schedule.
The speedboat leaves Sanur harbor at 45 minutes across open water to reach Nusa Penida, and that crossing is where the day actually starts. You're moving away from the resort crowds on the mainland toward an island that still feels separate — fewer tourists, steeper cliffs, water so clear you can see the seabed from the boat. Your private driver meets you on arrival and takes you to Broken Beach first, where a massive natural arch frames the water below and the rock face rises around you. It's the kind of place that stops you mid-step.
After Broken Beach comes Angel's Billabong, a natural infinity pool carved into the cliff edge where you can swim if the tide is right and the water is calm enough. The platform there is built for photographs — bamboo railings, the ocean dropping away behind you — but it's also genuinely quiet. You're not fighting a line. Then Kelingking Beach, which everyone calls the T-Rex cliff because the rock formation actually looks like a dinosaur's head and spine. There's a viewpoint with a platform and a walking trail down the cliff face if you want it, but most people stand at the top and shoot photos of the turquoise water and the white sand below. Crystal Bay comes last, a wide beach with palm trees and calm water where you can swim or snorkel if you bring your own gear — rentals are available on the beach for extra cost.
Lunch happens somewhere in the middle of the day, Indonesian food at a local spot, and then you're back on the speedboat by mid-afternoon heading toward Sanur. The whole thing takes about ten hours door to door, and your driver handles the route between each stop so you're not navigating or timing anything yourself. Pickup happens from Nusa Dua, Seminyak, Ubud, Kuta, or a few other spots on Bali depending on where you're staying, and you get dropped back at the same place when the boat returns.
Your day includes hotel pickup and drop-off from your Bali location, speedboat transport from Sanur harbor to Nusa Penida and back, entry fees to Broken Beach, Angel's Billabong, Kelingking Beach, and Crystal Bay, a private car with an English-speaking driver for the island portion, and Indonesian lunch. Snorkel gear rental at Crystal Bay is available for an additional cost.
