The experience

The day starts with pickup from your hotel between 7am, then a drive to Mertasari Harbor at Sanur Beach for check-in on the fast boat. The crossing to Nusa Penida takes roughly 30 minutes depending on weather. Once you arrive, a private car and driver meet you to move between the four stops at your own pace.

Broken Beach comes first: a cliff formation with a massive hole opening to the sea below, quiet enough that you can have the space mostly to yourself. Angel's Billabong is a natural infinity pool carved into the rock where you can swim and see straight through the water to the floor. Kelingking Beach sits about an hour's drive away and gets its nickname from the T-Rex shaped cliff. The walk down the spine of the formation is the physical centerpiece of the day, with crystal water and crashing waves visible from above. Crystal Bay closes the afternoon with a sandy beach lined in palms, calmer waters suited to snorkeling or simply sitting before the return boat ride.

Lunch is a local meal included during the day. The return fast boat departs Crystal Bay in time to get you back to Sanur by late afternoon, then your driver takes you back to your hotel. The whole loop runs eight to ten hours from pickup to drop-off.
