The Experience

Our driver waved from across the hotel lobby—he’d been waiting since before sunrise, which felt both impressive and slightly guilt-inducing (I’m not a morning person). Afterward we visited the “Baby Taj”—the Tomb of I'timad-ud-Daulah—which is smaller but covered in these delicate carvings. By then my brain was full of stories and colors. The drive back to Delhi felt quieter somehow—I watched people selling fruit by the roadside and thought about everything we’d seen.
