The experience

The tour picks you up from your Dubai hotel or residence and heads south to Abu Dhabi. You spend an hour and a half inside Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, walking through a space built with 82 domes, more than 1,000 columns, and 24-carat-gold gilded chandeliers. The guide explains the architecture and the different Islamic schools it blends. Skip-the-line access means you move past the queues at the entrance. Bottled water is included throughout the day.

After the mosque, the route takes in a photo stop at Emirates Palace, then Ferrari World on Yas Island (where you see the exterior and the record-breaking rides from outside), Etihad Towers on the Corniche, and the eight-kilometer Abu Dhabi Corniche itself. You also visit Heritage Village, where you can walk through a reconstructed Bedouin tent and browse an old souk.
