The Experience

We left Dubai early—still a bit groggy, honestly—but our guide, Samir, was already wide awake and full of stories. We did quick photo stops at Louvre Abu Dhabi (the light under that dome is wild) and then Yas Island for Ferrari World—mostly just for pictures outside since it’s huge and bright red, impossible to miss. On the way back to Dubai I kept thinking about that first moment in the mosque—how cool the marble felt under my feet—and how different every part of Abu Dhabi seemed from the last. It’s not all shiny towers; there are little pockets of quiet if you pay attention.
