The experience
The tour leaves Amman early on day one and moves south through the West Bank's archaeological spine. St. George's Church in Madaba sits on a sixth-century mosaic map of the region. Mount Nebo rises above the Jordan Valley with views into Israel and Palestine on clear mornings. Shobak Castle, a Crusader fort from the 1100s, gets a short stop before you arrive at Petra for the night. Overnight accommodation and breakfast are included at Petra Guest House or a similar property.
Day two is built around a full day at Petra: seven to eight hours to walk the Siq, the carved canyon entrance, and reach the Treasury facade and the Monastery beyond. After lunch, a two-hour 4x4 tour through Wadi Rum's rust-colored desert follows. You overnight at a camp in the desert with dinner and breakfast included. The third morning, you leave Wadi Rum after breakfast, transfer to the Dead Sea, float in the mineral-heavy water, and have lunch at a five-star resort before the drive back to Amman.
Your own driver and guide travel with you the entire three days. Pickup and drop-off happen at your hotel or apartment in Amman. The vehicle is air-conditioned and sized for your group: a car for individuals or couples, a minivan for larger parties. The guide speaks English, Spanish or Italian, and every overnight stay, most meals and all transport between sites are arranged in advance, leaving you to move through the itinerary without planning logistics.

Top questions
What languages is the tour guided in?
Live guide in English, Spanish and Italian.
Can children come?
Yes. Ticket types: Youth (6 to 11 years); Child (4 to 5 years): free; Infant (under 4): free.
What is there to do for a full day at Petra?
Petra is a carved city built into rose-red cliffs by the Nabataeans around two thousand years ago. The Treasury, the site's most famous facade, sits at the end of the Siq, a narrow canyon carved through the stone. Beyond it lie hundreds of tombs, temples and a monastery carved into the cliff face, connected by footpaths and staircases. A full day lets you walk at your own pace and reach the higher monuments most visitors skip.
What happens during the Wadi Rum 4x4 tour?
Wadi Rum is a desert landscape of towering sandstone mountains and flat sand valleys. The two-hour 4x4 tour takes you across the desert floor, stopping at named sites like the natural rock bridge and the inscriptions left by Bedouin travelers centuries ago. The tour is timed to end near sunset, when the light turns the cliffs orange and red.
Can I float in the Dead Sea, or do I just wade in?
The Dead Sea's salt content is so high (about ten times saltier than the ocean) that you float naturally without effort. You can't sink. Most visitors spend an hour in the water, then rinse off in the resort's showers and have lunch at the facility before heading back to Amman.
Do I need to book the airport pickup separately, or is it included?
Airport pickup is available as an add-on option at checkout. If you select it, your driver will meet you at Amman airport and take you to your hotel before the tour starts on day one. Otherwise, pickup happens at your hotel or apartment in the city.
What's the difference between the two purchase options?
One option includes airport pickup. The other does not. Both options cover the same three-day route, guide, vehicle, accommodations and meals listed in the itinerary. Choose the airport pickup option if you're arriving by plane and need transport from the airport to your hotel before the tour begins.
