The experience
Two and a half hours, seated at the estate in the Prosecco Superiore zone. You start with a cutting board of cold cuts and cheeses, then move through homemade pappardelle with ragù, beef cheek cooked low and slow with vegetables, and tiramisu. Alongside each course, the guide reveals the techniques and family stories behind Prosecco Superiore Extra Brut, Brut and Extra Dry, then an Amarone from either Masi or Tedeschi, the two families who pioneered Valpolicella viticulture. Vegetarian and vegan alternatives are available for every course.
The tasting is built around the history of mistakes and intuitions that shaped these wines. Rather than a generic wine lesson, you hear how the families who made them arrived at their methods, what they got wrong along the way, and why Prosecco Superiore and Amarone matter to Veneto wine tourism. The guide speaks English or Italian.
